Ah. That would explain why I care not one whit about it. I’m not really into “next big things” or “Ivy League schools”. ;)

I’m delighted to hear that CV is getting positive exposure, and equally delighted that you’re staying so involved while down under. Far more so than I, who am just a few hours away from Butler. And if I haven’t told you before, the CV website is just fantastic.

I’m delighted, too! I’ll also admit, I started the CV web site project back in 2007 when I was mentally preparing to leave for the express purpose of making CV better and letting myself stay involved in a useful fashion. I have no interest in just being another one of those older people who hang around. If I’m older and not actively volunteering, I don’t think I would belong there.

Also, thanks for the compliments regarding the site itself. Please, if you haven’t already, check out the volunteering page. We could use volunteers like you.

Thank you! I’m so glad to hear that people are actually using those event features, as they are among the most complex in the site. It would be super helpful if you could evangelize that capability to the rest of the calendar-using world, since it would be immensely helpful to get that kind of stuff more into the mainstream. It’s not really useful if only tech geeks like you and I are using it. And since the CV calendar is fully compatible with Google Calendar, it has the potential to be really huge.
