The fact of the matter is that building tools like this and democratizing sex information is valuable and isn't a bad thing. @alank: All hail the power of crowd-sourcing, eh? ;) I'm glad I could help. If there is interest to distribute it from your site, please definitely pull it down and do that. I'd very much appreciate a link with credit.

Good to know, though I'm not really sure how I could use that from the plugin's perspective best. My philosophy on software tools is very much about not being clever so I'd rather not guess at what the teaser text should be automatically, unless I can think of a way to make that undeniably worthwhile. But hey, the plugin is GPL 3 and open source, so patches are very welcome!

I had a conversation at a party last night with someone about Fetlife. He hadn’t looked into it, and didn’t see the value since he felt uncomfortable about meeting someone online. Of course, my girlfriend and I wouldn’t have found or gotten to that party without Fetlife, and he seemed to be having a fine time talking to us. Well, more with her. Not the point. Despite some warts, Fetlife seems a pretty positive thing to me.

Thanks Elle. I hope you find the plugin useful! I agree that these sorts of sites are good; they are a central rallying point for subcultures that would otherwise be too geographically dispersed to come together.

Hey, that’s great! Thanks for letting me know, I’ll be sure to use your pluggin. I think sites like Fetspank and Fetlife are good ideas and we should really encourage the people that work hard on them.
