It is quite astonishing - each time I'm researching something close to my current thoughts and dealing with issues related to BDSM and sexuality, I end up here on your blog. Let me once again say how valuable you are, just by being a beacon out there.

Today I was accused of being some perverted pedophile hunting online for teens simply because I wanted to discuss writing positively about a variety of issues teenagers may have in relation to BDSM, relationships with adults (and to absolutely clarify this, I was very clearly talking about teenagers past the age of consent, which happens to be less than 18 in various European states, e.g. 15 in France and 16 in most of the rest of Europe including the UK) and (of course not positively, but realistically instead) about the current surge of gangrape and teen pregnancies in various parts of Europe.

Unfortunately I did so on a US American forum, and as already said got immediately declared a perverted pedophile. I was talking about writing and fiction and informative books for youths (hell, I wished I had had access to such as a teen). The topic was okay as long as everything named was understood to be depicted being negative, of course including negative consequences, sort of "see, lesson learned is don't even think of it!" This is quite frightening.

What I am now interested in: does anyone know of books aimed at teenagers which are positive about BDSM, and positive about the sexual self-determination of teenagers?

[...] All I want is to maintain the accessibility of the event so it is available to any member of the human race who wants to participate. Again, KinkForAll always has been and should always remain 100% free and open to the public. All that being said, you can bet on my giving a presentation at KinkForAll Washington DC about youth sexual rights, because it’s an extremely important topic not only to me personally, but I think also to our children’s future. (And then, I did. I called it Sexual Adultism: The tragedy of youth sexual oppression.) [...]

Thank you. From the bottom of my bitter fucking heart, thank you.

"I don’t want any other young person to go through the isolation and uncertainty I felt about my own sexuality at that age. Do you?"

NO.

I don't want them feeling like they're going to hell for having sexual fantasies of people of the same gender, or that any kind of birth control is pointless because it's an act of admitting shame and if they catch something it's all God's punishment and vengeance for having sex which they shouldn't have been doing in the first place.

I don't want anyone sticking tampons up their ass because they don't know where their own proper damn body parts are or thinking that they lost their virginity when a boy stuck his hand down their shirt because of that stupid Madonna song "touched for the very first time."

http://sunshinegypsy.com/2009/04/17/protect-the-children/

I don't want them getting date raped over and over again as a teenager because the abusive adultist FUCKS in their life taught them that it was never okay to say "no" and that your only chance of salvation is to be obedient and unquestioning.

I especially don't want anyone to ever have to feel like less (or a different kind) of a person simply for having a sexual body at an early age, or worse, that they asked for it, or that they're asking for anything else because of it. And if they are asking for anything else, then they shouldn't have it taken from them or displayed as a thing to be ashamed of.

[...] Sex-negativity often goes hand-in-hand with adultism, a form of ageism that discriminates against young people considered “not adults.” Adultism is so embedded in the structure of society that many institutions, including schools, routinely marginalize young people by silencing their voices, disallowing their participation in decision-making activities, or actively excluding their presence at public assemblies.
