That's totally fair, Lisette. :) Again, good luck! I'll cross ALL my fingers for you, in the hopes that you'll be able to make it after all.

Maymay, if we were talking about taking time off from work, I would almost certainly come, but my first priority right now is completing my final papers/exams so I can graduate from a master's program. If I somehow manage to be in a place where I feel I can take a day away from school, then I'll do everything I can to be there. I'm off to a good start, but it's hard to know what will happen between now and then in terms of writing.

I'm thrilled this is happening. I am going to see what I can do to get myself up there, I'd love to hear the discussion.

I wish I could come to this, especially since I don’t live all that far away. Sadly, May 4 is far too close to finals for me to feel comfortable unchaining myself from my desk.

I won't begrudge you your priorities, <a href=""#comment-35377"" rel="nofollow">Lisette, although I would ask you why you feel you're unable to do something you wish to do, especially while feeling chained to your desk. Such feelings are precisely the reason why I'm flying to Providence, RI from San Francisco, CA on my own dime. I really do think this panel is that important.

That said, good luck in your schoolwork, and please keep spreading the word about this panel. :)
