Vignettes
Vignettes are brief, evocation descriptions that paint a picture of a story but don't actually contain the entirety of a plot. How brief you wish to be depends on you, but a good recommended length for such a piece is between 200 to 800 words (for now).
The purpose of these snippets is to inspire creativity. They are purposefully short so that you may literally copy-and-paste them into your own works or copy-and-modify them as you wish to construct narratives with these pieces as components of a larger tale.
Naturally, you're also welcome to simply add to the list of available vignettes. If you add any, you are implicitly agreeing to license your work under the same creative commons license as the rest of the work on this site.
